Description
The Parenting Place seeks a Physical Therapist (part-time or full-time) to serve in our Birth to 3 Early Intervention Program while providing limited hours for our Grow Strong Pediatric Therapies serving children ages 4-10. Work is based in Monroe County, WI.
Each day is a new adventure when you work in this family-centered role to support communication development and coach caregivers using the Primary Coach Approach to Teaming. Your multi-disciplinary team will include a physical therapist, occupational therapist, speech-language pathologist, early childhood special education teacher, and service coordinators. Key responsibilities include initial and ongoing assessment; regular visits in home or community settings; participation in development of goals; coaching parents and caregivers; writing of evaluation reports and plans of care and brief on-site documentation of visits. Early intervention creates lifelong impact while empowering families.

Positions above 20 hours per week receive paid holidays, paid time off, and employer contributions to a retirement plan. Full-time employees (30 hours or more) also have paid health, dental, and vision insurance (employer pays 70% of individual or family premium). Applicants must hold a current WI PT licensure. A valid driver’s license and transportation to homes throughout Monroe County is required; mileage reimbursement and travel time are paid.

Requirements
Current WI PT license is required. Experience in a pediatric setting or in home visiting is desire.
