Were seeking a passionate and driven  Nurse Practitioner /Physician Assistant to join our regional Neonatal Intensive Care team in Grand Rapids and Muskegon, Michigan. Opportunity Details

• Position Type: Full-time (1.0 FTE)
• Schedule: 25-hour or 8-hour shifts
• Location:Grand Rapids and Muskegon, Michigan
• Specialty: Neonatal Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with neonatology fellowship training
• Provider Team: 4 Physicians and 11 APPs
  • Clinical Care Team: RNs, RTs, MSW, OT, PT, SLP, ect.
• Hospital Info:
  • Grand Rapids: 15-bed NICU Level III
  • Muskegon: 8-bed Level II Special Care Nursery
• Call Requirements: No Call Required for APPs (physicians take call from home and are available 24/7)

Requirements

• Open to new graduates or experience
• APPs: Board certified in specialty prior to employment
• Active Michigan medical license
• DEA license
• ACLS/BLS certification (must be maintained)

Duties & Responsibilities

A typical day may include:

• Providing direct patient care
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
• Participating in teaching and mentoring
• Documenting in Epic EMR
• Engaging in quality improvement initiatives
• Supporting community health efforts
