We are seeking a compassionate, motivated mental health therapist to join our growing private practice. We are a collaborative and supportive team dedicated to providing high-quality care to children, adolescents, adults, and families.

We are seeking a candidate who:
Is independently licensed or license-eligible in New York State
Demonstrates strong clinical judgment and ethical practice

Enjoys working with children, adolescents, young adults, and families
Has specialty training or experience in areas such as anxiety, trauma, neurodiversity, EMDR, DBT, IFS ERP, play therapy, or related evidence-based approaches
Conduct thorough clinical assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding standards to determine client needs and treatment plans.
Provide therapy sessions using evidenced based approaches while maintaining a client-centered vision
Implement crisis intervention strategies to manage acute mental health emergencies effectively and ensure client safety.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation adhering to HIPAA regulations and clinical documentation standards while ensuring timely updates in medical records.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including social workers, medical professionals, educators, and case managers to coordinate comprehensive patient care.

Requirements
Master’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling or related field from an accredited institution.
Valid licensure or certification as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor or fully credentialed Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or equivalent.
Proven experience and advanced training, specialty certifications, and demonstrates clinical expertise
Demonstrates expertise in crisis management, crisis intervention techniques, and behavior management strategies.
Telehealth experience is desirable; ability to provide remote therapy sessions effectively using secure platforms.
Knowledge of clinical ethical guidelines and HIPAA compliance standards for patient confidentiality and medical documentation.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse populations
